Job SummaryThe primary responsibility of this position is to Mange, Produce and Direct the Live and Virtual Corporate Events team. This includes but is not limited to managing the contractor video production team, third party production companies, the AV, Media and staging needs of Live and Virtual Events, as well as continuing to develop and roadmap the technology used to improve the service. Additionally, this position will have responsibility for the oversight and design of all audio visual conference rooms, equipment, and user experience when using these rooms. Job DescriptionOversees the day-to-day operations of the Production Services departmentAssist and oversees project pre-production planning, on-site and off-site production activities for all live and virtual large scale corporate events.Maintain the overall design of Otsuka’s A/V systems and ensure audio visual conferencing technologies meet business requirements and are marketed effectively.Operates department within established budget guidelines and identifies ways to reduce expenses and improve efficiency in the operation.Supervise additional staff during live event and virtual video productionsEnsure all projects are delivered on scheduleIdentify best practices for video and evolve daily operations Oversee video collection to ensure all media is archived appropriately and can be readily obtainedUtilizes continuous improvement methodologies to implement changes, measure their results, and improve the customer experience) Assumes overall responsibility for operations Expert in agility to smoothly handle multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid changes with the environment or productions schedule. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of best practices and advances in emerging technologies within the AV industry, closely matching technology solutions to the business needs of the firm.Act as liaison between Operations, Telecommunications, Security and the Local Support Team.Works with clients to understand their business needs, and deliver a product that meets or exceeds those requirements QualificationsRequiredAbility to lead a team and manage new and changing demandExcellent written and oral communication skillsStrong interpersonal and customer service skillsFlexibility to work outside the job description when the need arisesExtensive experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environmentExperience in managing vendors, budgets, and timetablesAnalytical and problem-solving/troubleshootDeductive reasoning skillsPC and Network knowledgeAbility to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environmentA minimum of 10 years of relevant experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience (must include experience in a video production environment)Knowledge of all elements AV and Staging of Live Events and the recording and editing of multimedia and video projectsExtensive knowledge of video production equipment including Crestron, Live to Air, Black Magic and Microsoft TeamsExcellent organization, planning, and communication skillsAnnual Salary :Minimum $0.00 - Maximum $0.00, plus annual incentive: The range shown represents a typical pay range or starting salary for candidates hired to perform the work.
