Job Description
Automotive BDC Representative
Here we GROW again in 2023! Acura of Valley Stream is looking for an Automotive BDC Representative to work through phone, email, and instant message to communicate with customers and sales professionals. Candidates are expected to work on leads for potential customers, connecting them with a salesperson who can assist them with their car-buying experience. Although this involves interaction with our sales team, this is not a sales position, but more so involves gathering information, following up on leads and working as a customer service agent for both the potential customer and the sales consultants in an office setting.
Job Responsibilities
Specific Automotive BDC Representativeduties include:
- Handle incoming and outgoing phone calls and emails.
- Work in our call center staffed and managed by the dealership, and handle our customer contacts, service, follow-up, and lead generation.
- Prospect follow-up calls, set appointments for service and sales, and gauge customer satisfaction.
- Answer customer internet inquiries by both email and phone.
- Schedule sales/service appointments and reschedule no-show customers.
- Contact customers based on current marketing incentives.
- Follow up with existing and potential customers to generate appointments.
- Follow up in a manner that results in the customer visiting the dealership.
- Exhibit ethical behavior, provide the highest degree of customer satisfaction and be honest in all aspects of dealing with customers.
Job Requirements
Specific Automotive BDC Representativequalifications include:
- The ability to manage a high volume of inbound and outbound sales and service call volume, internet leads and call lists.
- Overall knowledge of automotive sales and service department operations.
- Display strong organization skills.
