Job Description
Overview
- Oversee execution of sales skills advancement projects, including design, content curation, delivery (in-person and virtual) and ongoing skill optimization
- Plan the training calendar, schedule training events, and administer training feedback surveys
- Identify skills gaps across each dealer and sales team and working across the sales leadership team on best approach to facilitate training (small and large group) and coaching to improve new skill integration
- Monitor and evaluate targeted sales rep training activity and results, providing feedback to reps and managers as needed
- Serve as advisor and coach to the Inside Sales and Demand Gen sales leaders
- Dedicate time weekly to call coaching with reps across varying levels of sales experience and acumen
- Prepare new Inside Sales Representatives & Associates (Lead generation) employees to be successful through consistent and effective training, feedback and coaching
- Plan the training calendar, schedule training events, and administer training feedback surveys
- Identify skills gaps on the sales team and working closely with sales leadership on best approach to facilitate training (small and large group) and coaching to improve new skill integration
- Monitor and evaluate targeted sales rep training activity and results, providing feedback to reps and managers as needed
- Dedicate time weekly to call coaching with reps across varying levels of sales experience and acumen
- Excellent verbal, written, communication and presentation skills
- Exceptional platform skills for content creation, delivery, and engagement (i.e. virtual learning, video, video conferencing, polling and quiz tools etc...)
- Good working knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Business Process Technology fundamentals (Cloud, cybersecurity, ECM, Networking, RPA etc…) required
- Demonstrated understanding and application of modern organizational learning and performance research findings and principles.
- Highly proficient with Microsoft OS applications. MAC and common business software packages
- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills. Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent planning and time management skills. Demonstrate leadership and creativity in recommending, developing and delivering learning that aligns with corporate goals and initiatives
- Positive attitude. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Ability and willingness to quickly learn new technology in an evolving industry.
- Ability to interface and work comfortably and effectively with all levels of management.
- Experience using Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe tools such as Photoshop, Premiere Pro preferred
- Experience using and demonstrating the value of CRM software is a definite plus.
- Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date on the latest training and development trends, technologies, and best practices. Continuously learn and develop new skills to improve program design and delivery.
- Prospecting and New Business Generation experience required
- Account Executive and SDR/BDR one-on-one coaching and training experience required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, professional certifications and experience
- 4 - 8 years of direct sales training and facilitation experience (sales/leadership) that includes sales, technology, or similar support
- 5 - 8 years as a SDR/BDR sales manager or call center manager preferred
