Job Description
IT Commercial Technology Lead
Position Summary:
The IT Commercial Technology Lead will own the overall relationship with sales and marketing leadership to set the strategy, design, definition and support of digital solutions in support of core sales and marketing business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing fact-based business needs in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. The IT Commercial Technology Lead is responsible for investigating, vetting, and delivering technology that enables and accelerates sales & marketing goals. The IT Commercial Technology Lead will generate and compile business cases, design reviews and tech validations based on their findings. This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, problem-solving, and business skills to help maximize the financial benefits and impact of IT system investments on our sales and marketing functions.
Location: (Hybrid)
Schedule: Monday - Friday
Role:
Set strategy and plan to support the technology needs of commercial function teams
Maintain and apply a strong knowledge of the customer's business and regional/global processes to develop solutions
Provide leadership, direction, and project management for technology investments to ensure successful delivery and operations.
Create standards and ensure commercial systems and applications meet the required IT standards in support of the businesses and their processes.
Demonstrating opportunities for best-in-class process management to the business owner
Performing continuous reviews to align processes (for example, models, goals, expectations) with changing business conditions
Travel expectations 20% (domestic & international)
Other duties as assigned
Candidate:
Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business Administration, Marketing, and/or Information Systems preferred
7-10 years related work experience in a similar role
5+ years of Salesforce administration experience desired
Proven experience in leading the design, development, and implementation of IT solutions for commercial teams
Deep technical knowledge of Salesforce platforms
Demonstrated marketing automation tech stack knowledge
