- Providing high-level advice and risk assessment on marketing campaigns and activations.
- Drafting and negotiating marketing partnership agreements and enterprise partnership agreements involving the bundling and/or cross-promotion of Peacock and third-party products and services.
- Drafting and negotiating marketing services agreements, including for the provision of services such as marketing strategy, social media programming, influencer marketing, live events and marketing activations.
- Drafting and negotiating production services agreements for development, production and/or post-production services related to creative materials promoting the Peacock app and/or content available via the app.
- Conducting rights analysis of inbound content licenses and talent agreements.
- Reviewing creative materials, advising on clearance and rights issues and preparing necessary releases.
- Providing legal advice on contests and sweepstakes and drafting related official rules, release forms and marketing disclosures.
- In consultation with the Regulatory & Compliance team, advising on compliance with FTC, NAD, COPPA and CARU guidelines and decisions.
- In consultation with the Labor & Employment team, advising on union and guild issues implicated by marketing materials.
- In consultation with Privacy legal team, providing privacy-related advice in connection with promotions, live events, campaigns and other marketing activities.
- Providing regular training to Marketing client groups on marketing-related legal issues and risks.
- Supervising outside counsel and other members of Peacock’s Marketing & Partnerships team.
- Assist with various Marketing and Partnerships group projects and perform other related duties as needed.
- J.D. from an accredited law school.
- Member of the New York State Bar or California State Bar, or willingness and qualification to be registered in-house counsel.
- 10+ years of legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department of a major media company, with at least 2 years of experience in the area of marketing, content production or intellectual property.

- Self-starter with a very strong work ethic and the ability to work as part of a team but also independently with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and leadership skills; management skills preferred.
